Horsham knows what wind does to trees. The tornado that came out of the remnants of Hurricane Ida on September 1, 2021 ran eight miles from Fort Washington through Upper Dublin and ended here. The National Weather Service survey found it weakening as it entered the township, still snapping trees along Babylon Road before it lifted.
