Tree health care for the tree you'd rather keep.
We look after sick and structurally weak trees around Willow Grove: health care and disease treatment, plus cabling and bracing for trunks starting to split.

A big shade tree takes fifty years to replace, so it's worth asking whether yours can be saved before paying to remove it. Thinning leaves, dead tips, bark falling away, mushrooms at the base: each points to something different, and some of it can be dealt with.
Often the fix is pruning: taking out the dead and diseased wood so the problem doesn't travel, and so nothing drops on its own. Where a tree has two trunks pulling apart, or one long heavy limb over the house, a steel cable high in the crown or a brace rod through the union takes the strain and buys the tree years.
And sometimes the answer is no. A tree that is mostly dead, hollow at the base or leaning with the ground lifting behind it is a removal, and we'll say so rather than sell you treatment for it.

Reviews of Daniels' Tree Service, LLC, quoted exactly as customers wrote them on Google.
“Couldn't be happier. Daniel and his team took down a maple tree in our back yard and an old holly bush on the side of the house. Left our lawn perfectly intact and ground down the stump. He is friendly, professional and responsive. Would definitely use him again in the future.”
“Excellent job on trimming a very large pear tree in my backyard. Perfectionists. Will definitely have them do more work.”
“Very good experience. A fair price and an excellent job. Very knowledgeable about the care of trees and anxious to satisfy the customer. Shows up on time and works effectively. Strongly recommend.”

About the work
Sometimes. A tree with dead tips or one bad limb can often be pruned and kept for years, and a splitting trunk can be cabled. A tree that is mostly dead, hollow at the base or lifting at the roots can't, and should come down before it falls.
Treat it only if it's still healthy and worth a lot to you; otherwise plan to remove it. Emerald ash borer is now in nearly every Pennsylvania county and kills an ash three to five years after it moves in. Treatment has to start before the tree is attacked, and a dead ash turns brittle, so it shouldn't be left standing over a house.
Usually not. Spotted lanternflies stress a tree by feeding on it, and they're hard on grapevines and tree-of-heaven, but a healthy shade tree normally survives them. Montgomery and Bucks counties are both inside Pennsylvania's lanternfly quarantine.
Before you book
It depends on the job, so the estimate is free and done in person. For a tree, the price follows its size, what's under it (a roof, a fence, wires), how close the truck and chipper can get, and whether you want the stump ground and the wood hauled. You get the number before any work is booked.
